This small hatchet is hand forged from a farriers rasp. It features the texture from the original rasp giving a clue to its previous life.
Perfect for chopping kindling due to its size and light weight. It is finished with a protective layer of Linseed oil and the Ash wood handle is lightly burned and finished in the same way to give grip and protection.
Quirky but practical! It weighs just over 400g and is roughly 34cm long. The head is approx. 85cm from the back of the eye to the blade and the blade width is roughly 7.5cm.
