This is a listing for a mokume gane haptic worry stone. Sometimes known also as a touch stone. It is made from a hand forged billet of layered copper and brass. I then heated and forge welded the layers together. The outcome has been a beautiful one off mini stone to keep in your pocket.
I have left the textured layers on the base of the haptic coin and then given the top face a thumb dip which reveals the layers this is made up from. It is then finished off with a light buffing to give an even and slightly polished surface all over.
These are great pocket fiddles and the texture feels very calming when held. The heat conduction of the different metals works well and warms to body temperature very quickly when held. It is the smallest of my worry stones but has a reassuring weight to it still. The soothing faces are great to hold and feels great in your pocket and has really relieved my anxiety in many situations.
The haptic stone is roughly 15g and measures 30mm x 21mm x 4mm.
