This is a listing for a pair of hand forged steel Turtle Doves. They are handmade by me in my small Kentish forge from a single piece of 10mm diameter square steel bar. They are finished with a locally sourced beeswax to protect them.
Each dove is individually made and unique. I have paired them into birds which are most similar to each other. But please let me know if you would like a specific pair (see the photos for A, B or C)
That being said, each dove has a wing span of approximately 5.5cm and measures 4cm head to tail. They weigh roughly 20g each.
The simple idea is to gift one of the pair and keep the other and, as Kevin was told in the movie, “you will be friends forever.”
They will come carefully packaged and include two copies of the famous quote from Home Alone 2. A truly unique and special gift!
